1. Who we are
AppOrigin Ltd. ("AppOrigin", "we", "us") is a software company registered in Sofia, Bulgaria. We operate this website (app-origin.com) and publish mobile applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play. This policy explains how we handle personal data on this website and, in general terms, in the applications we publish. Where an individual application collects data beyond what is described here, its store listing links to an app-specific privacy notice.

2. Data we collect on this website
- Contact form. When you use our contact form we receive the name, email address, and message you provide. Form submissions are delivered to us by email via the form-delivery provider FormSubmit, which processes the submission solely to forward it to us.
- Email. If you email us directly (including hr@app-origin.com), we receive your address and whatever you choose to send.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider may record standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability purposes.
- Fonts. This site loads the Poppins typeface from Google Fonts; your browser therefore requests the font files from Google's servers, which involves transmission of your IP address to Google.
This website does not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or social-media pixels.
3. Data in our mobile applications
Each application we publish declares the data it collects in its App Store privacy label and Google Play Data Safety section. As a general principle across all our apps:
- We collect only the data required for the app to function (for example, an email address to create an account).
- We do not sell personal data to third parties.
- Payment card details, where applicable, are handled by certified payment processors (such as Stripe) and never stored on our servers.
- Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
4. How we use personal data
- To respond to your enquiries and provide support;
- To operate, maintain, and improve our website and applications;
- To meet legal obligations that apply to us;
- To consider candidates who write to us about joining the team.
Our legal bases under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are: your consent (when you contact us), performance of a contract (when you use our applications), our legitimate interest in running a secure and reliable service, and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Sharing and processors
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf — such as hosting providers, email delivery, form delivery, and payment processors — under agreements that protect it, and where required to comply with the law.
6. Retention
We keep contact-form and email correspondence only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for reasonable follow-up, after which it is deleted. Data held in our applications is retained while your account is active and deleted or anonymised after account closure, except where law requires longer retention.
7. Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data; to restrict or object to its processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@app-origin.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in Bulgaria, the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP).
8. Children
Our website and applications are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision; material changes will be highlighted on this page.
